Lignovations is a Start-up specialized in producing high-tech particles from the biomass constituent Lignin. Our Lignin particles are a natural and sustainable alternative to ecologically problematic ingredients and are thus enabling the production of sustainable and environmentally friendly end products in many industries, e.g. cosmetics, paints and packaging. Thereby, our product will accelerate the transition to a sustainable society.
We are looking for a Chemical Engineer to join our team from October 2021.
Your Role:
• Development of chemical engineering processes within our Lignin particle production process
• Development of optimization measures within our Lignin particle production process
• Communication and cooperation with plant manufacturers
• Commissioning of a Lignin particle pilot production plant
• Operation of the Lignin particle pilot production plant for development purposes
• Application tests with the produced Lignin particles
Your Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Technical Chemistry or equivalent
• Scientific problem-solving competence
• Experience in performing laboratory and chemical engineering experiments
• You work carefully, responsibly and are reliable
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Willingness to work in Tulln a.d. Donau as well as in Vienna
Nice to Haves:
• Knowledge in material utilization of biomass
• Knowledge in standard analytics
• Experience with social media and webpages
• Passion for legal or admission topics
